My teaching methods change depending on the student thus the lesson plan will be centered entirely around the student in efforts to reach the students goals. My immediate goal is to help you learn to play the guitar, but music lessons don't just end there. The music lessons provided by me at the studio has so much more to offer. Do you want to learn how to record a song? Want to learn how to use GarageBand? Want to know what it's like to play in a band?

I know just how to help you.

If you want to learn guitar from a guy who can do more than teach you simple songs, you've found the right guy!

Meet your instructor

While I was learning about music in school, I already had some technique I acquired on my own. However, my music education shaped the way I now appreciate my instrument even more. I also grew to appreciate more music styles. My music education also helped me find my own musical voice.

Hello! My name is Aldo and I am a music teacher. My instrument of choice is the guitar. I absolutely love the guitar. I knew I always wanted to learn how to play ever since I was a little boy. I mostly taught myself in my teenage years but eventually studied music in school and privately as I grew older.

The choice to become a guitar teacher came at a time when I decided I wanted my life to revolve around music and I am so thankful that I get to live that experience everyday. I was a gigging musician for most of my teaching career, and I felt I had something I could share with my students. What I wanted to share with my students is what a working musician goes through to be able to learn a song, to rehearse a song with a band, record a song, and perform in front of your peers.

When I meet a new student, I ask them what their goals are. Whatever the goal may be, from learning a simple song, to a complex piece, my job is to help the student get there. It doesn't matter if the student is a complete beginner or an experienced player with bad habits. I believe that everyone has the power to get better at their instruments and do amazing things with them.
